Twenty-Second Birthday Bash

Last Thursday, I celebrated my 22nd birthday with my lovely family. My mother, my sister, and I kicked off our girls’ day with the Van Cleef and Arpels exhibit at the Bowers Museum ‘ooh-la-la-ing’ at vintage diamond jewelry. We enjoyed strolling around the grounds listening to the sounds of the fountains and smelling the walls of ivy flowers. When it was time for brunch, we made our way to Downtown Fullerton for high-tea at the historic Spring Tea Garden. After trying on a thousand and a half floppy hats, we munched on bite-sized sandwiches and crumbly, cranberry scones. My floral print slip dress, Alice and Olivia wedges, and Prabal Gurung clutch made me feel feminine and fit for the special occasion.

A person is born physically of human parents, but is born spiritually of the Spirit. John 3:6
A worldly birthday is always fun to celebrate, but means nothing if we are not born again through the Spirit. I thank God everyday for the years He has given me and for the chance to blow out yet another candle. My wish for 22 is to continue living life according to God’s plan.
Have a dandy week! xoxo
