I will admit that it is too easy for me to get set in my routine, be predictable, and plan every detail of my life. HELLO SELF! What fun is that? My bestie, Brittan, and I made the choice as a dynamic duo to be more spontaneous. As a result, we drove to Starbucks to wake ourselves up, and made an impulse decision to drive to Coronado Island in San Diego. During our exploration, we investigated the historic Hotel Del, found super intense sandcastles, ate outside at the most mouth watering mexican restaurant, rode a two-seater bike on the beach (we almost died, let me tell ya), and it was all so delightful. My heather gray cotton dress from Target was the right choice for the warm, yet breezey San Diego adventure.
But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
Asking God to fill your life with His will can be totally scary. When you pray for God to use you, he is not messing around! Having trust, believing that what He has planned, and not doubting or bowing out of what he has in store for your life is intimidating. Knowing that Jesus stands by our side and doesn’t want for us to be tossed around by the wind of the world, is so encouraging when taking the next step in the adventures in your life!
Have an spontaneous week!
