More from The Hidden Jewel Boutique- Galatians 6:14

Leaving snowy New York City today with the spring season on my mind. The cultivation of all my winter outfit ideas took place before this trip, and now I can focus on Spring 2016 trends. However, I do still have one more mountain weekend planned for my birthday mid February, so I guess I’ll support winter a little while longer! I do have to admit, that wearing a dress and showing bare leg in January was quite freeing!  This floral bell-sleeve dress from The Hidden Jewel Boutique will be perfect when the weather starts to warm up for anything from date night with my man to lunch dates with my girls. Because of the bold black and white print, I avoided adding any extra layers to this outfit. If you are anything like me, you are in major wants of the perfect fedora, but finding the right one is like trying on glass slippers that don’t fit. UNTIL NOW. This Janessa Leone fedora is going to be a spring staple and an absolute must-have!

May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
Galatians 6:14
I am quite the chatter box, and I often find myself dominating a conversation, or quickly finding ways to bring up my accomplishments. And that is not a cute personality trait! Over and over this week, I kept stumbling into Bible verses that remind me to be humble, put others first, and never boast… except in the name of the cross! When I find myself wanting to slip shameless self promotion into a conversation, I will be replaying this verse in my head. If it wasn’t for Jesus Christ, I wouldn’t have anything to be proud of!
Have a blessed week!
