This may come as a complete and total surprise, but this Donut Diaries segment is not about a donut shop. HOLD THE PHONE, right? I wanted to spice things up, and I am not talking about pumpkin spice donuts. To tell you the truth, my original intention was to visit Zombi Donuts in Downtown Fullerton, but here is my personal PSA: they are closed on Tuesdays. This led me down the street to Bolu Bakery Cafe which is dessert heaven. They literally have every sweet you could imagine (except donuts, but I am not even mad about it). Out of all the macaroon and ice cream options, I opted for a fruit tart which was the bees knees!
Through the new year, my donut clothing/accessory collection has continued to grow. My newest addition is this 70’s inspired pair of sunnies from Amazon. I can’t wait to lay pool side or in my donut floaty while wearing SPF 100+ and these sunglasses. One of my other spring wardrobe essentials I was finally able to purchase was this denim dress
from Nordstrom. What I love about this button up chambray dress is the cuffed sleeve and the perfect true-blue wash. Oh and it was under $60!

“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.”
Sweets and treats can definitely fill me up temporarily, but the Word of God, the daily bread will keep me full much longer! Could you imagine the generosity of those who can offer food to those who cannot afford it? A simple act of kindness of treating someone to lunch can point someone to the Lord! Funny how food can bring us closer to God!
Have a blessed week!
